ADS Ltd helps Hertfordshire County Council scan their archaeological records

As more and more pressure is placed on Councils to save money, in March 2014, ADS was chosen to help Hertfordshire County Council convert their Archaeological departments records and files to electronic format. As our company is located very near the HCC offices, we were able to avoid too much disruption by taking and returning the new and scanned files on a weekely basis. The files were dis-assembled by ADS staff, scanned in colour and high resolution as a number of photo’s were in the files and these were needed to be shown in detail. The files were then re-assembled by ADS staff and returned to HCC for storage. The conversion of the files to electronicn format enables HCC staff access thier files quickly by both on and off site staff and hence making them more productive.
